The MJI Group reaches out to the poor, orphans, widows, handicapped and needy people of the remote places of Assam.To provide scholarships to the needy and talented students in order to complete their studies is amongst the ideologies of the MJI Group. The MJI Group commits to help the seriously ill and the downtrodden and guide the underprivileged youth live a fuller and a happier life.
We believe that every child has the right to a good sustenance, no matter how deprived they are. To fulfil our venture, we raise money to support individuals and hospitals so that the sick children are not denied the highest quality care, advice and support.
To improve the quality of life for oppressed, disadvantaged, and marginalized people.
To provide support, build capacity, and integrate individuals into mainstream society who have traditionally been suppressed in personal, social, economic and political domains.
To eradicate illiteracy.
To reduce poverty by improving economic status of individuals through income generation activities.
To improve health status of communities through health education, environmental cleanliness, and increasing access to primary health and child care centres in remote villages.
To eliminate bonded, forced, child labour and slavery.

Recently on the 2nd of November, 2013 our Chairman has distributed hundreds of blankets to the old, handicapped and orphan irrespective of caste, creed and community in and around Golaghat to beat the biting cold. In addition to this, a good sum of cash money has been donated to twenty ill & needy people for their treatment.
Health care activities in rural villages include free health camps and awareness programs.
Vocational training: Programs are organized for unemployed women to build their skills and make them profitable.
Training programs for groups of 25 women include tailoring, knitting, embroidery and handloom weaving.
The MJI Group is not only a promise to the underprivileged in particular but also a reliable source of support for the student community in general. It donated scholarships to five talented needy students in Golaghat to pursue their studies further. Water is a basic necessity of life. But in certain regions the poor are not able to afford to drink a sip of clean and pure water. The MJI Group is ahead in this arena too. Being ethics the core principle of our group, it donated tube wells for drinking water to the needy people in the remote area of the Nagaon district of Assam.
